WOW!! I think it's amazing how many times I can read the same passage of Scripture and still get something new out of it each time. God is so amazing, and His free gift of Grace and Mercy is something that none of us deserve, and yet, He POURS out His love for us!! I am so priviledged to know Jesus. How often do you think about that?!! Man, seriously God is so good!! God rocks my world!! I love the part that says; we are rooted and established in LOVE, and that we get to join the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep the LOVE OF CHRIST is!! That totally blows me away!!! Be blessed, because no matter how much we love Him, He loves us so much more than that and He always will...that rocks!!

My Subaru Love note leaving obsession!!



Okay so most of my friends already know, I have a slight obsession with the lovely Subaru WRX!! And it gets a little out of hand sometimes..I know I know...I'll work on it I promise. For the past few times I've been in Hillsboro visiting my friend Candice, I have found my favorite car in numerous parking lots. So I decided it would be a good idea to start telling people just how beautiful their cars are by leaving "love notes" on their windshields!! Here are a couple pics from the first WRX note I left. The love note's go something as follows "Hey there, I just thought you should know that I love your car!! It is hot!! And fast!! And Pretty!! Rally Baby!! Love your Secret Friend"
**Sidenote,,,I only recommend doing this if;
A. You don't care if you get caught in the act...that can be slightly humiliating walking up to a car while the guy is still in it, when you're just about to reach for the windshield wiper, then walking away as if you really weren't about to do anything at all.
B. If you leave the note, and then walk back out of the store, only to find the owners of the vehicle reading the note as you walk by and laughing really hard at the total nerd who left a love note on the car in the first place!!
C. You really don't care what the owners think, and you are only leaving the love notes, as a token of appreciation for the beauty and speed of a well crafted and designed Japanese automobile. **

Mt. Hood is so lovely!! I wish I could be on it everyday, but sadly I cannot. I love seeing the beauty of God's creation right in front of me, it's amazing!!

My Friend Tex!!


So this is my friend Tex, we went up to Meadows a few weeks ago, and he's stinking hillarious!! This is him doing his "Butt-Rock 80's" pose on the lift!! We had fun, and riding was so good the whole day!! Sweet buttery lovin!!

I love the snow!!


SNOW SNOW WONDERFUL SNOW!!!! I love it when my town gets dumped in snow.....because then..I get to make baby jumps at the bottom of my driveway and try not to get hit by cars when I ride down the hill to make it over them!! Haha!! Perhaps I should stick to the real jumps on the mountain!! But it's just so fun!!!

I pretty much have to say that my nieces Addie and Elexis are simply adorable!! They are so stinking precious!! I love them!! This picture of them is so cute!! Addie is turning 8 in about a week, and Elexis will be 6 in February..they really do grow up SO FAST!!

I just have to say my niece Addie is a sillyhead just like me. She makes the funniest facial expressions ever!! I love it!! She is such a little stinking goober!! Addie does a really sweet Zoolander too!! It's awesome!!!

Christmas is Coming!!


Hey I can hardly believe it, Christmas is going to be here in only 5 days. How crazy is that?? We have the tree, and I still have gifts to make. It's gonna be a really weird Christmas this year I think. Seth's in Japan. Jesse has his own family and does his own thing, so all that leaves our family pretty low key in terms of celebrating. But that's totally fine by me because I think it's lame when everyone freaks out about presents and spending tons of money anyhow. I get super discouraged by that. I'm excited to just have a peaceful day at home with my now rather small family. And Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, so that's awesome also, because my Church is going to have a service Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I'm excited. Let't keep the true meaning of Christmas alive this year, and celebrate the birth of our redeemer Jesus Christ.

Sad Monday!


This is the Monday that Setsu had to go back to Japan, but not before he went to New York to meet the future inlaws..aka...Hannah's family. I was sad to see my big bro go, but I was so glad that I got to hear how well he is doing in Japan, and that he has such a vital role in the ministry at North Star. Seth you rock!! I can't wait until April when I get to meet the girl, and see my big bro again!!!

Beautiful Mt. Hood!!


Oh man...there's nothing better!! The smell of the fresh, sweet buttery love of powder!! I can't get enough of it!! Mt. Hood got 2 feet of fresh powder over the weekend, which is amazing for this early in the season. I've now been snowboarding I think 5 times!! I can't wait until it starts dumping even more!! This picture captures a very small part of the gorgeous drive down from meadows. So beautiful!!

The Vehicle of my DREAMS!!


So this is the day I fell in love with the most beautifully wreched vehicle I've ever seen. It was incredible. I was driving home from school one Tuesday afternoon in the not so distant past, and I spotted this little beauty just to the right of me. I just couldn't help but admire the paint job as well as the huge tires on the ghetto lift job. I wanted it bad. I almost waved him over to see if he had a mullet and would do a straight up trade for my little Subaru. I didn't for fear of him pulling out his rifle off the gun racks. This was story has the sad ending of me leaving my lovely beast of a vehicle in the dust as I passed him up.
THE FAMILY ZOOLANDER!! WORK IT!! WORK IT!!

What I've been thinking about...

Do you ever get really overwhelmed with how discusting America is in the consumer aspect? I do...latelly the thing I've been thinking about most is just how much crap we take in....and how much of our money we spend on it. This Holiday season, I am really going to try to be as selfless as possible and try to give away my money instead of buying gifts for people who really don't need them anyways....sorry guys!! I want to make an eternal difference with my money. This is just my random rant for the moment. haha. Going to wonderful school...

So,,,here's what's new with me. I am going full time to Mt. Hood Community College www.mhcc.edu And I like it okay. I mean school is school, right? Right! I am currently enrolled in 12 credits and taking four classes. I love my black and white photography class!! I am now trying to get into the two year photography program at Mt. Hood. I am way stoked about that. Fun, fun, fun!! I'm also taking phylosophy, health & Fitness, and Entrepreneurship. They're all good classes, but I'm excited for next term because I'm not going to take as many classes. Yes folks, I've decided to become a snow betty. I would like to reside on Mt. Hood for the next few months, and be a total bum. haha.

Ashley, Momo, Stasio, Rachel and I all went to the Emery show and it was raining so hard by the time we got inside we were all soaked. But the show was rad. It was the biggest crowd I've seen for Emery in Portland yet. They were super good. I got punched in the lip in the mosh pit and started bleeding. Then some retard stole my hat that I bought in France...so that sucked but it was still a sweet show!!

This is one of my favorite towns ever!! Good surfing, beautiful area, amazing Pacific Ocean. Some of the best years of my life were spent in Cannon Beach!! I love it, I love it, I love it!! This picture is from when I went down to help with Ecola Bible School registration day 2005. So much fun to get to see friends again and meet some of this year's students, all the ones I met were rad!!

This sweet fountain in Spokompton!


So these are my feet on this sweet fountain in Spokane that I went to when I was up for the weekend for Emily Valnes and Trevor Worthington's wedding!! It was so cold this night. My feet were like icicles. I guess it was my fault since I was wearing Converse and all. haha. Apparently water would be spraying out of this on a regular basis, but it was turned off because it was like 11 o'clock at night.

More of LONDON!

London lovely London!

London is one of the coolest stinking cities out there!! The Tube is really stuffy and crowded, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I would love to live in London at somepoint in my life. seriously it's really really cool. I love the accent so much. I want one!! Gretchen, Steph and I all walked around everywhere and went to the London Tower, The London Eye, and Covent Garden, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, and so much more. It was absolutelly amazing!! I loved it! The exchange rate is pretty much the only bummer, the pound is worth twice what the dollar is worth.

Here's me and Gretchen at Versailles, France. This is the sweetest palace I've ever seen. The gardens are absolutelly incredible. This place was built in 1660 and finished in I think 1696, but my point being it's really really old. There are amazing fountains and incredibly intricate statues and steps and topiaries and artwork. It's so beautiful I cannon even discribe it. King Louis (the Sun King) lived here, and if you look over my shoulder in the background you can see how many miles the gardens go on for. It takes over an hour to get to the end!! Isn't that nuts! We stopped about halfway and had cappuccinos in the cafe and called it good. My feet were hurting so bad from my stupid Parisian princess slippers that I just had to wear!!

Some(of many) Chandeliers in the palace. I loved how I felt like a princess walking through this palace. It's so beautiful. I just wanted to dance down the halls in a big fancy gown while wearing a very sparkly, and yes expensive tiara.

This is Louis' throne. It's impressive, but not nearly as "Grand" as I thought it would be.

You don't get to walk around in the chapel, but you can see how glorious, and huge it is even from behind the velvet ropes. The ceilings in every church I went to, were amazing.

.Versailles.


Vercielles is one of those places you walk through and are amazed that someone had a palace as a house. It's so overwhelming. The museum part of it isn't even very big, but it's so beautiful. Gretchen kept repeating to me, "Sarah, you're walking where a king once walked." It's the wildest feeling.

.Cafe `a Fouquet's.



So, aparently Bob told us that everyone who's anyone goes to Fouquets to have coffee. So Gretch and I just had to have coffee there. And it was deluctable. Except...they gave us these weird jellied fruity sugary thingys......if you ever go there and are curious about them...just say no. You'll be so sorry if you eat them. The bathrooms here are GORGEOUS as well!!!

.L'Arc De Triomphe, Paris.


This is one of the most massive structures I've ever seen. It's tight though. It's in the middle of the busiest driving round-a-bout in Paris. I think there are like 6 or so lanes of traffic all merging around it. So to get to the center you walk through a tunnel under the road. It was pretty cool. And big. I cannot explain to you enough, how huge this is.

The L'Arc De Triomphe is a war memorial. So every day, they light a flame and have flowers surrounding the unknown soldier's memorial stone.

Something that was really rad to see, was all of the French artists selling their work on the sidewalks. It's like something you see in a movie, but they truly sell a ton of art just by displaying it like this. Pretty cool. And they are all super good. The sketches are so beautiful.

This is the view from one side of the top. In the distance is the only spot in Paris that has skyscrapers. Most commonly there are a ton of flat, really old buildings everywhere. It's pretty neat. And in the front there are some capital buildings and whatnot. Everything looks super super small from up there.
